Change in circumstances If you have a fixed-term membership, e.g. for 12 months, but your circumstances change in an unforeseeable way a long-term illness, losing your job or having to move home, you could have grounds for immediate cancellation.
In order to terminate a contract, many gyms require members to submit a docHubd letter of cancellation. This is a letter signed by an official notary public. When writing the letter, be sure to include your name, address, email address, and phone number. You must also list your gym account number.
A membership with a duration commitment allows you to pay a 1 year or 2 year membership in respectively 12 or 24 monthly payments, instead of a single upfront payment.
