How to Edit a PDFs Metadata in 3 Steps With the PDF file you want to inspect open in Power PDF, click File and find the Info tab. Under Properties, click Advanced Properties. The PDF metadata dialog box opens. Add, edit, or manually remove any of the metadata displayed.
Choose the hamburger menu Document Properties (Windows), or File Document Properties (macOS), and then select Custom. To add a property, type the Name and Value, and then select Add.
The Custom Properties tab allows you to add custom document properties that store additional metadata, such as the version number, company name, or any other values directly in the PDF. Note: Properties you create must have unique names that do not appear in the other tabs in the Document Properties dialog.

Select Fill Sign on the right side of the screen. Choose the Add Text tool, which looks like an upper-case A next to a lower-case b. Click anywhere in the PDF where youd like to add text and start typing.
How to edit PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text, or update fonts using selections from the Format list. Save your edited PDF: Name your file and click the Save button. Thats it.
