[Music] the way that you put a hyperlink into a word document the first thing you do is select the text that you want to turn into a hyperlink go up to the top left side where it says insert click on that go over to the where it says link towards the center top click on the two circles that are overlapping each other and then all you do is type the web address of uh of where you want the hyperlink to go to im just gonna type uh google.com click ok and now it is a hyperlink if you want to test it if you put your mouse cursor over it youll see it it says control plus click you hold down control and left click and theres your hyperlink thanks for watching you

Making a clickable link to an email address Open up the item you want to edit (article, content, product, etc.) Type the text to link the email address to. Highlight the text John Click on the chain icon that is now enabled in the middle toolbar - it only gets enabled when you highlight text.
Creating a shareable link makes it simple to share a document in an email, document, or IM. Select Share. Select Copy Link. Paste the link wherever you want. Note: If you need to change any permissions for the link, select Link settings.
First, open your document and select the text you want to turn into a link. Then hit the key combo Ctrl+K. This will display the following popup. Now type in the URL you want the text to link to.
For a Website Copy the URL that you want to shorten. Go to tinyurl.com. Paste the long URL and click the Make TinyURL! button. The shortened URL will appear. You can now copy and paste it where you need it.
Create an email hyperlink using HTML Highlight the text that you would like to hyperlink. Click the Chain icon. In the link URL, enter mailto: followed by the email address (example: mailto:emailname@yourdomain.com) Click Update when finished.
There are a number of ways to rename a link: You can select it and start typing in a name in the text box that appears. You can select the link in the Diagram window and then edit the name in the Property Browser.
Press Ctrl+K. You can also right-click the text or picture and click Link on the shortcut menu. In the Insert Hyperlink box, type or paste your link in the Address box. Note: If you dont see the Address box, make sure Existing File or Web Page is selected under Link to.
Hyperlinks arent clickable It may just be plain text with the Hyperlink character style applied. Press Alt+F9 to see if there is an underlying HYPERLINK field code.
Once youve uploaded a Word document, PDF, Excel spreadsheet or PowerPoint presentation to the Library, you can get the URL for linking to a text link, button, or clickable image link in an email.
Insert a hyperlink In a message, position the cursor in the message body where you want to add a link. On the Message tab, click Hyperlink. In the Link box, type the address for the link. In the Text box, type the text that you want to appear in your message.
