To create a maintenance order, you need to specify the order type and the planning plant or the technical object. Note that you cannot modify the values of the Order Type field and of the Planning Plant field retrospectively. Maintenance orders are classified by their order type.

What to include in a work order letter Company name. Start with your company name, typically in one of the upper corners. Company address. Below the company name, include your address. You can create, change, or display Maintenance Orders in SAP Plant Maintenance using SAP UI tool. You can use different T-Codes IW31, IW32, and IW33 to maintain Maintenance Orders in Plant Maintenance.
You can also create new maintenance orders using a template (or reference order) and use checkboxes to specify which data you want to be copied from the reference order to the new maintenance order. The system creates the new order without establishing a relationship to the order you used as a template.
The most common items to include on a work order are: A description of the task. The name of the person / party requesting the work. Estimated completion time. Name of the party responsible for completing the task. Location of the task / asset where the work is to occur.
