The text layer(s) in your original photoshop file must not be within any Layer Groups. You need to have added the text to be substituted in square brackets in the note for the layout (not the ordered item).

Make a change to any of the settings in the options bar, such as font or text color. When youre finished editing, click the check mark in the options bar.
Premiere Elements offers two different ways of creating still titles. You can either go to the Tools menu and select the New Text option. In the sub-menu, you will be able to see the Default Text feature, click on it to add it to your project and then proceed to enter the text you want.
