Implementing a trait on a type is similar to implementing regular methods. The difference is that after impl , we put the trait name we want to implement, then use the for keyword, and then specify the name of the type we want to implement the trait for.
Traits represent a characters personality, abilities, reputation, and physical characteristics. They can be gained or lost through events and some traits can be inherited by descendants. Traits affect everything about a character, from attributes to the opinion others have on them.
To enable console commands in CK3, right click on the game in Steam and go to properties. Select Launch Options and type -debugmode (without the quotation marks) in the window. Close it and launch CK3. Now, in the game, hit ~ and it will bring up the console.
If you want to change a Trait on your armor, jewelry or weapons, you can do this by transmuting an item to the desired trait. You can do so at a Transmutation Station, which you can either access in the Clockwork City DLC, or via houses of friends or guildmates.
Crusader Kings 3 Addtrait Command This command adds a specified trait to the specified character. If no character is specified, then the trait will be added to your character. View all trait IDs at: commands.gg/ck3/traits.
Use tweakergui debugtooltip (pre 1.1) or debugtooltip (1.1) command to find the id of leaders. As of 2.2, using debugtooltip and hovering over the leader will reveal their ID, which can be used to apply traits (tested on 2020-08-09 version 2.7.
To enter these commands players must first open Crusader Kings 3 in debug mode and then access the console window by pressing the ~ key. Adding or removing traits all follow a general formula. Players will have to type addtrait [trait ID] or removetrait [trait ID]. The brackets are omitted.
Crusader Kings 2 Addtrait Command This command adds the trait with the specified ID to the character with the specified ID. If you do not specify a character ID, the trait will be added to the character you are playing as.
