hi in this video i would like to show you how to add custom data fields to the customer sections in shopify and in short customer reviews they allow you to expand the basic functionality of the customer section such as you can add birthdates you can attach pdf files you can add certain dimensions and add custom records straight to the actual customer profiles so to do so you have to be logged into your admin panel then go to settings and then look for matter fields once here look for customers and then click on add the add definition so lets add a birth date so birth date as a name and hope it says its already taken lets just call it birthdate1 if the description we can leave blank for the content type we can select um date and time and just keep it a date and lets click save and for a second definition lets create an option to attach pdf files or images attachments content type file and to attach pdfs you just have to select accept all file types and then click save and it depend
