Hi this is Gary with MacMost.com. Today lets take a look at the new Titles and Captions feature of Pages. MacMost is brought to you thanks to a great group of more than 700 supporters. So make sure you have that version. What you can do with this is you can easily add captions and titles to things like images. Lets paste an image in here. You can see Ive got just a fairly standard image. Lets add a border to it so we can see the edges of it. In the past if I wanted to add a caption to this I could do it in many ways. For instance I could add a text box. Put that text box just underneath. Shrink it down and set a style for it and add my caption. I could also put a title above it if I wanted to the same way. But now theres an easy way to do that in Pages. If I select an image here and go to Format, S

Add headers and footers , tap Document Options, then tap Document Setup. Turn on Headers or Footers (or both).
Add a caption to an object Click near where you want the caption to appear, then click Text in the toolbar. Drag the text box to where you want it; use the tools in the Arrange pane of the Format inspector to make precise adjustments. Type your caption. Do any of the following:
Add a title Select the object you want to add a title to. Tap. To change the location of the title, choose On Top or On Bottom. Double-tap the placeholder title, then type your title. To change the font, size, style, or other formatting, tap the title (or tap the object, then tap the title), tap.
Tip: To quickly add titles to photos right in the main Photos window, choose View Metadata Titles, click the field that appears under a photo when you hold the pointer over it, then type a name.
Open the Photos app and tap on a photo. Swipe up on the photo to reveal more details about it. Beneath the photo, tap the Add a Caption text field. Type your caption and swipe down on the keyboard or tap return to stop editing and save it.
Add a caption Select the object you want to add a caption to. In the Format sidebar, do one of the following : Click the placeholder caption below the object (a blue outline appears around the caption field to show its selected), then type your caption.
Add a title For shapes, images, videos, or text boxes: Click the Style tab, then select the Title checkbox. For image galleries: Click the Gallery tab, select the Title checkbox, then choose whether to include a different caption for each image or the same caption for all images.
Add a caption to an object Click near where you want the caption to appear, then click Text in the toolbar. Drag the text box to where you want it; use the tools in the Arrange pane of the Format inspector to make precise adjustments. Type your caption. Do any of the following:
