Its not possible to transfer existing instances or AMIs between AWS accounts. Instead, you can manually migrate an EC2 image from one AWS account to another.
You can copy an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) into or to another AWS Region using the AWS Management Console, the AWS Command Line Interface, or SDKs, or the Amazon EC2 API, all of which support the CopyImage action.
There is no cost to make an AMI itself, but if youre making it from a running instance you will pay the fees for running a micro instance (which is about $0.02/hr, depending on availability region - see the pricing details) and also fees for using the EBS root for however long you use it.
Get AWS Credentials. Create a security group. Copy an AMI from a region to another. Step 1: Connect to your AWS console. Step 2: Connect to Ireland region. Step 3: Go to EC2 dashboard. Step 4: Find the public AMI. Step 5: Open copy AMI wizard. Step 6: Start AMI copy. Step 7: Connect to the new region. Step 8: Find the new AMI ID.
Run the hostnamectl command and specify the new hostname. Replace the persistent-hostname with the new hostname. 6. After you start or reboot the EC2 instance, run the Linux hostname command without any parameters to verify that the hostname change persisted.
If you know the account IDs of the AWS accounts you want to share the AMI with, you can share the AMI by following the instructions at Share an AMI with specific AWS accounts. To copy the shared AMI, see Cross-account copying. Note: Sharing an AMI from different Regions is not available.

Share an AMI (console) In the navigation pane, choose AMIs. Select your AMI in the list, and then choose Actions, Edit AMI permissions. Choose Private. Under Shared accounts, choose Add account ID. For AWS account ID, enter the AWS account ID with which you want to share the AMI, and then choose Share AMI.
Open the Amazon EC2 console at . In the navigation pane, choose Instances. Select your instance, and choose Actions, Networking, Manage IP addresses. Expand the network interface.
