How to create fillable PDF files: Open Acrobat: Click on the Tools tab and select Prepare Form. Select a file or scan a document: Acrobat will automatically analyze your document and add form fields. Add new form fields: Use the top toolbar and adjust the layout using tools in the right pane. Save your fillable PDF:
Upload a PDF from your computer, Dropbox or Google Drive. Open the drop-down menu on the right of the file and select Edit. This step will launch the editing tool. Click the Text Field button and drag anywhere with the cursor to add a new text box.
You cant expand the size of the Text field once its created but you can change the properties to multi-line and scroll long text so you can get more text in the field (you can limit the number of characters in the field too) . Do this under the Options tab in Text Field Properties in Acrobat Pro.
Go to the upper-left corner, click on the View tab, select Toolbars from the dropdown, and hit Form Controls. This will enable the Form Controls panel. Step 4. Click the Text Box option in the Form Control panel, and click and hold your mouse on your PDF to insert a fillable text box with the defined size.
