A watermark is a logo, piece of text or signature superimposed onto a photograph. Watermarks are typically transparent, so those viewing the image can still admire it. You can usually identify the photographer through the watermark, too.
The artist name and date are to be signed on the bottom right side of a print just below the printed image. Never on the image! The title of the print is to be written in the center of the image just below the printed image. Its also common to put the title in parentheses or inverse commas.
To tag a photo before you post it: At the top of your Feed, tap Photo. Select a photo from your camera roll and tap Next or Done. You can also tap to take a new photo using the camera, then tap or Next. Tap Tag Friends. Type their name in the text box, then tap the check box next to their profile picture. Tap Post.
Use pencil for labeling: Pencil lead #1 or #2 is the museum gold standard for labeling anything on paper, because it is soft and erasable. Dont press too hard, because it will leave a depression on the reverse side. If the photograph is glossy or slick, we recommend a Stabilo-brand pencil, which is darker and softer.
The classic convention for titling an image is to identify the subject (name the person, place or thing) and add the date of creation: if its a photograph use the date of exposure; if its a painting use the date of completion; if its a composite photograph default to the latter; if its an image of a historic event
More generally, in photo editing software, in addition to the visual changes you can make to an image itself, you can also add description, title, rating and tags. In this case, the tags are words or phrases that describe the photograph. It could be the names of people in the photograph. It could be the location.
If you have a great session and post a lot of the images online, people may want to know who took them. Some people may ask you directly; however, most people will not. Tagging your Photographer ensures that anyone who may be interested in scheduling their own session can easily docHub out to the Photographer.
