To create a quote in Zoho Books: Go to Sales and select Quotes. Click + New button on the top right corner of the page. Fill in the customer details, item details, and other required fields. Select the Create a retainer invoice for this quote automatically option if you wish to record any advance payment for this quote.
You can manage previously created customized quote templates in the Your customized quote templates section. To view template options, hover over the customized quote template, then click the Actions dropdown menu and select an option: Edit: edit the quote template.
Customize Template Go to Settings on the top right corner of the page. Select PDF Templates under Customization. In the Templates pane, select Quotes. Click Edit on the template you selected earlier. Make all the required changes. Click Save.
Go to Settings Templates and select the Invoices tab. You can edit the predefined invoice templates by clicking on the Edit button that appears when you hover over them. You can also create a new invoice template by selecting the +New button on the New Template box.
