In this video, you will learn how to add tax account associations. Start by selecting the blue Webfile button on the Comptroller's home page, keeping in mind that the Webfile eSystem times out after one hour of inactivity. Before proceeding, ensure you have your 11-digit Texas taxpayer number and Webfile number. To access your account, enter your User ID and Password; first-time users should click on Create Profile. If you are filing or paying taxes, select File and Pay Taxes. You can explore other eSystems options by selecting See More. After entering your taxpayer number, you will see available tax types. Select the Assign option next to the desired tax type and enter the corresponding Webfile number to add it. If needed, repeat this for additional tax types.
