Create Sticky Notes for your PDF document. Open your document in the Acrobat online PDF editor. Click the Add Comment icon and select whether youd like the comment to be visible as text on the document or whether you want it to show up as a comment icon. Make your comment and repeat throughout the document.
How to Add Comments to a PDF on Mac Open the PDF document in Highlights. From the menu bar choose File Open. Select the sticky note tool in the toolbar. Click where you want the note in the PDF. The sticky note appears at the selected location and an annotation popover window appears: Type your comment in the popover.
You can use typing suggestions, if available. To resize the speech bubble, drag a blue handle. Edit a note: Click a note to view it, then type new text. View all the notes in a PDF: Choose View Highlights and Notes (so the Highlights and Notes menu item has a tick next to it).
Highlight the text that you would like to comment on, then right-click on the highlight and select Add Note from the dropdown menu. To make a comment not tied to any particular text, select Note from the dropdown menu. You can place this note anywhere on the PDF.
To comment on specific text, select Highlight Text from the dropdown menu. Highlight the text that you would like to comment on, then right-click on the highlight and select Add Note from the dropdown menu. To make a comment not tied to any particular text, select Note from the dropdown menu.
In the Stickies app on your Mac, choose File New Note. Enter text. Your content is saved automatically. The first line of the note is shown in the title bar when you collapse the note.
You can use notes and speech bubbles to comment on text in a PDF. These items are often used in conjunction with the highlight, underline and strikethrough tools. In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to change.
