hello in this video were going to wire up the state so lets first import use state from react okay so the reason why Im importing you state in the top level components is because we need to pass the rating to the thank you screen once everything is said and done so first lets create the piece of State um rating set rating equals you state I will start off with null and then have rating and set rating as props pass it into feedback we will also need to pass it into the ratings yep ratings components so I usually allow two levels of passing the props um any long any more than that and we start to get into the prop drilling problem so Okay so of course we have ratings um okay um we had a on click Handler here cools yes uh what else and then um lets rename this rating prop actually you know what um instead of doing that we can just change it here to rating prop and then so when the rating prop equals the rating oh wait one second lets um lets change this so we can interpret uh yep
