Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own electronic signature that you could use to insert into documents. Lets say for instance, you have to sign a document. Well, today you could print out that document, then you could sign it, then you could scan it in again, and then you could send it off. But thats a lot of work. It wastes paper and you need to have a printer. I dont even have a printer. Today Im going to show you how you could create an electronic signature, two different ways. One of them is using your phone where you sign your signature on the phone, and then well bring that onto our PC, so itll be digital all the way. The second technique, were going to sign our name, take a high quality photo of it, and then well bring that into the PC. So, Ill show you those two different ways. Go to the Windows Start button and type Snipping Tool in the Search box, then open the Snipping Tool. Draw a rectangle close around your signature. Save it as a PNG file.
Step 1: Go to the top left corner of google docs and click on Insert Drawing New. Step 2: Google docs open up a blank canvas. Step 3: Scribble your signature. Select Save and Close, and your signature appears in place of your cursor.
You need a scanner to do this. Write your signature on a piece of paper. Scan the page and save it on your computer in a common file format: .bmp, .gif, .jpg, or .png. Open the image file. To crop the image, click it to open the Picture Tools Format tab, click Crop, and then crop the image.
The quickest way to fix this is to use a higher resolution image in your email signature, and scale the image down using the HTML height and width attributes. For example, if the resolution of your image is 360 x 360 pixels, you should use 1/3 of that resolution in the height and width attributes.
Formatting an Email Signature in Outlook To specify the font and size , select the text you want to change and go to Format Font from the menubar or adjust the font and size in the menu bar above the editor.
Use a High-Resolution Image For example, if the resolution of your image is 360 x 360 pixels, you should use 1/3 of that resolution in the height and width attributes. This way, if the device upscales the email signature, it will have a higher resolution image that it can use, and it wont look blurry anymore.
How do I resolve the blurry image issue? Firstly you will need to have a hi-resolution version of your image and also photo editing software. Open your hi-resolution image in your photo editing software and resize it so that it is double the size of what you want it to be within your email signature.
Use a scanner to create a high-resolution scan of your signature, if your scanner has the option, set for maximum dots per inch, often abbreviated as DPI. In the scanning software, crop the image to remove the excess white space. Save the resulting image as a PNG or JPG file.
