To make it required that a selection must be made, just click the required option under Radio Button field settings. Doesnt matter whether you do this on just one of the radio buttons in the group, or all of them, youll get the same behavior of one must be selected for this field to be valid.
RadioButon is a two state button that can be checked or unchecked. If a radio button is unchecked then a user can check it by simply clicking on it. Once a RadiaButton is checked by user it cant be unchecked by simply pressing on the same button.
