hey Yanks got to havin port here Ive got a quick tip for you for photo Raw about using the blend modes with filters not with layers but with filters if youre not familiar with what a blend mode is yeah in brief it changes the way a filter or in layer interacts with whats beneath it theres a pixel per pixel comparison done and then the different modes change the way that the filter or layer interacts with whats already on your canvas now we use the blend modes in layering reasonably often to blend textures to you know create silhouettes or to brighter objects disappear or darker objects appear things like that but with filters less so and some of that is the nature of its very difficult to predict how its going to look and thats just the nature of its a pixel by pixel comparison its unique to every photo but what Ive been playing around with has been with photo filters so Im going to add a photo filter here and youre kind of doing a tinting on the photo on this one let me j
