Im here in the inez Greenberg gallery where tons of different shows come through throughout the year and you might be wondering how does artistry go about installing the different shows well for the answer I have Rachel Daly the visual arts program director for artistry Rachel I know you go about installing these shows whats the secret how do you go about it well I really like to think of the gallery as a canvas a blank canvas each time a new show comes in so when the artist drops off their work I get to play around with them and compose a show each each time a lot of ways that I do that one specific way is by looking for a strong color thats in a certain grouping of artwork so I like to lay them out in groups from one area to the next so that as people see the show it flows very well in easily so it might be that in a certain group theres a yellow that is a strong color maybe a peach flesh tone and that might transition into a new grouping of a completely different maybe more neu
