all right to get started I just imported a video clip into my project along with an image that I like to overlay lets begin by dragging our video clip from the project bin on to the v1 track on the timeline then drag the image youd like to overlay above it onto the v2 track now to see your overlaid image just make sure the playhead is positioned over the top of it using the selection tool you can drag your image clip to reposition where your image appears in your video if youd like to change the duration of your image clip just drag either of its ends to adjust how long it plays for to change your images size double-click your image in the video preview to select it then drag the sizing handles to adjust its size and to change your images position in the frame simply drag the middle of your image around in the preview window ok and thats it for this tutorial thanks for watching and see you next time [Music]
