Add a Course Image to Display on the Dashboard Go to your courses Moodle site. Click the Settings. In the Description Section, look for the Course Image upload box. The easiest way to add an image is to drag and drop it from your computer into the upload box. Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
How do I add an image to a course card in the Dashboard? Open Course Settings. Open Course Details. Choose Image. Upload File. View Image. Manage Image. Update Course Details.
Canvas recommends that your profile picture be as small as possible. Your personal files quota is enforced when uploading a profile picture. If you do not have enough storage space in your personal files, you will not be able to upload your profile picture.
Note: Course card images are categorized as decorative images for screen readers. Open Course Settings. In Course Navigation, click the Settings link. Open Course Details. Click the Course Details tab. Choose Image. Click the Choose Image button. Upload File. View Image. Manage Image. Update Course Details.
Add a profile picture to Canvas Click Account in the Global Navigation Menu. Click Settings. Click the profile picture icon. A pop-up will appear. Click Upload a Picture, and select choose a picture. Find and click the image you would like to upload, then click Open. Use the selection boxes to crop your image.
To upload a new profile picture, click the Upload a Picture tab [1], then click the choose a picture link [2]. You can also drag a picture from your desktop and drop it into the uploader.
Upload or change profile photo Click on your profile photo from the top corner of the homepage. Hover your mouse on your current photo. A camera icon will appear. Click on it. Choose the file to upload from your device, and click Open. Wait for the upload to finish, and your profile photo will automatically update.
A course image gives users a snapshot of your course content, and can be a great way to grab a users attention.
