There are several ways to add images to Google Docs. Many prefer to have Google Images open in a different tab to search for images. To add an image, click on it to enlarge, then right-click to copy and paste into your document. Alternatively, use Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V shortcuts for copy and paste. In Google Chrome, drag and drop an image by left-clicking on it and holding the mouse as you drag. Keep holding the left mouse button down until you reach the desired location on the document. Google also allows you to upload your own pictures or search for pictures without opening a separate tab. Simply put your cursor where you want the image to appear and choose "insert image" or click on the image button.
