The best thing is if you are a new student attending orientation; you can take your picture before you arrive and avoid the line at the VolCard office. Your card will be ready for you when you arrive on campus. Now, before you open your camera on your smartphone, there are a couple of things you need to know so that your photo will be accepted by the VolCard office. Its got to be a recent, clear, good quality photo of you. It must be on a plain white background and your head must be centered and looking straight at the camera.
