Relationship evidence has to do with photos. We know that a lot of couples are asking, I have hundreds ofphotos or I have 20 photos, how should I submit them? Should I put them in a word document? Should I just submit them in a scrapbook? Should I tape them on a page and put sticky notes? Should I writeon the back? Id really like to give some clarity about what is the best way to submitphotos to immigration. I want to also reference another video that I made about something calledan over-submission or an under-submission of relationship evidence. I know a lot of coupleswill say, I have 100 photos that I want to submit. And thats great, a hundred photos is probablymore than enough, thats probably too many. We usually recommend about 20 to 30 photos. Photos is just one type of evidence that you can submit and and I would also encourage you to check out ourfree relationship evidence guide to understand all of the different categories of evidencethat immi

Wedding photos are a good place to start. You can view these photos as having some family history significance and pack them away. If you feel strongly, they can be thrown out. Ask your children if they may want them as a keepsake of a life together that was started in good faith.
In most cases, taking the chronological approach makes the most sense. Depending on the number of photos you have, you may want to organize by decade then break it down into years. The advantage of sorting chronologically is that it will be easier to find duplicate images, which you can then discard.
First backup your library to avoid issues from mistakes. Then the easiest way to do this is to take a copy of your library (you can have as many libraries as you like), and in the copy, delete all except your Exs photos. Then in your normal (non copied) library, delete all the ones you dont want to see.
Four Things to Do with Family Photographs after Divorce Give them to your kids. Even though pictures of you and your ex may be painful for you to look at, they may be extremely important to your children, especially in the future. Put them away for now. Make sure to get copies of the ones you want. Get rid of them!
Destroying photos before the settlement is complete could cause conflict in the divorce, should an ex-spouse ask for them only to hear they are gone for good. Once the divorce is through, old photos are still worth keeping for children, grandchildren, or future sentiment once the emotion is not as fresh.
