Once youve installed the app on your smartphone, open the app and activate it by following the on screen prompts. Click Add Account. Hold your phone up to your computer screen to scan the QR code. If you are not at a computer, you can click the link to have an activation link emailed to you.
Click Email me an activation link instead. If you enroll in Duo from an Android or iOS device, instead of scanning a QR code tap the Take me to Duo Mobile button. This will launch Duo Mobile and complete activation of the account.
Set up Google Duo Step 1: Duo. Duo is available on Android phones and tablets. Step 2: Verify your phone number. You can skip phone number verification. Step 3: Connect your Google Account. To connect your Google Account, tap Agree. After you verify your number on Duo. Use Duo to call your contacts.
From your computer, click I have Duo Mobile installed. An activation barcode will appear on your screen.
This error can occur if a user is enrolling a phone that is already associated with an existing Duo user and there are policies are in place that disable both phone and SMS authentication. When a user attempts to enroll a phone that is in use by another Duo user, Duo will require verification via phone call or SMS.

Invite someone to Google Duo On your Android phone or tablet, open Duo. At the top, tap the search box to see your contact list. Look for the contact you want to invite and tap Invite. Your default SMS app will open with a pre-loaded invitation message. Tap Send.
You can enroll more than two phone numbers and/or download the Duo Mobile app on multiple devices. You need a desktop or laptop computer on which to do the enrollment steps. U-M will only use your phone number for the Duo service, and you can modify or remove it from the system at any time.
Students: Setting Up Duo Mobile App on Your Mobile Device Download and the Duo Mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device. Open a web browser on a computer or laptop to the Student Duo Setup site. Enter your campus username and password. Click My Settings Devices.
Open Duo Mobile and tap Add in the upper right of your accounts list to go to the account type selector. If the new account you want to add shows you a QR code to scan with an authenticator app, tap Use QR code from Duo Mobiles Add account list. Scan the QR code with your camera to add the account.
