hi Im Skyler Google Spreadsheets dont actually have a way to format phone numbers automatically but you could write a little formula to do it for you let me show you what I mean so in column a let me type in just ten digits in column B Im gonna type in our formula it looks a little complex but it does the job now we see the column B has the properly formatted ten digit u.s. phone number now Ill just drag this handle down and now I can type in as many phone numbers as I want all of which will be formatted correctly just like that so it all comes down to this formula which is a just a concatenation it allows you to determine how these special characters are interspersed with the data from the user thanks for watching Im Skyler
