The free version allows for three documents per month, with the option to upgrade for $15 per month for more document signings. Once logged in, click on "create signature" to start signing your documents. Add a photo or draw your signature. Upgrading the plan provides more signing capabilities, but the free version is sufficient for occasional document signings like invoices.

Sign in to hellosign.com. Click Templates in the left sidebar. Click “⁝” (vertical ellipsis) next to the template or template link you'd like to edit. Click Edit and follow the prompts to make your changes.
You can access your stored templates on your Documents page, and you can share templates that you've created with your teammates so that they can use them as well. Just log in to HelloSign and click the “Templates” tab on the left-hand side navigation, and then select “Create template” to get started.
A merge field is where you want to insert the information from a data source into a main document. Merge fields appear with chevrons (« ») around them. An example would be: Dear «FirstName». Address Block. A group of merge fields that make up an address in a mail merge document.

The ability of the signer to edit the field is only for single-signer requests, OR the first signer of ordered signature requests.
