Find an option in System Settings Click the System Settings icon in the Dock or choose Apple menu System Settings. Enter a word or phrase in the search field. Settings with options that match your search text are listed below the search field. Click a listed option.
On your Mac, click the Finder icon in the Dock to open a Finder window. Select a file, then choose File Get Info. You can also Control-click the file, then choose Get Info. In the Info window, click the arrow next to Open with.
Select multiple items: Press and hold the Command key, then click the items (they dont need to be next to each other). Select multiple items that are adjacent: Click the first item, then press the Shift key and click the last item. All items in between are included in the selection.
Pressing the Option key while viewing a menu reveals hidden menu items. For example, in many apps, if you press the Option key while viewing the File menu, File Close changes to File Close All.
Hitting the escape key to bring up the menu. This menu will let you adjust settings, exit the game when youve had enough, and do all kinds of other useful things. To get out of the menu, click Back to Game with your left mouse button or hit the escape key again.
Turn on your Mac and continue to press and hold the power button as your Mac starts up. Release the power button when you see the startup options screen, which displays your startup disks and a gear icon labelled Options.
You can also click near the first item, press and hold the trackpad or mouse button, then drag over all of the items. This methods especially useful in the Icon view in the Finder. Select all items in a window: Click a window to make it active, then press Command-A.
To open these settings, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Arrange the position of the displays, mirror their content, or relocate the position of the menu bar. This option only appears when you have an external display connected to your Mac.
