Blue is for folders, white for files, and yellow for pipes. For more details, use ls -L for long format which displays file types, owners, groups, and creation dates. Hidden files start with a DOT and can be shown with ls -a. Special files include Dot and dot dot at the top._ls -a shows all files, including hidden ones.
