Add the Downloads shortcut to the home screen On your home screen, touch and hold the Files by Google app . A list of 2 options appears: Clean. Downloads. Touch and hold the Downloads icon. and drag it to the device screen. When you tap the Downloads shortcut, the Downloads tab opens directly.

I swear Ive done my research here - I have gone through about 5 tutorials on how to do this. They are all similar: go to the Files (or My Files) app, select the file, hit the 3 dots, and select Add to Home Screen.

A toolbar opens with multiple annotating tools. You can save the original PDF or make a new copy with a new name.
