How to add someone to a group text message Tap the group message that you want to add someone to. Tap the group icons at the top of the thread. Tap the gray arrow icon to the right of the contacts, then tap Add Contact . Type the contact that you want to add, then tap Done.
Open Google Messages . Select an existing conversation with someone not in your contacts. Add contact.

Add people and companies to Contacts on Mac In the Contacts app on your Mac, click the Add button at the bottom of the window, then choose New Contact (or use the Touch Bar). To enter contact information, click the gray text next to a field label. To add a picture, click the circle next to the contact name.
On Macbook: contacts settings accounts with iMessage open, toggle enable this account for each active account (watch your messages app to see if contact names reappear).
