Welcome to the direct data entry webinar training for professional claims submitted through the ProviderOne Portal. We are conducting this webinar due to the policy change at the WA Health Care Authority where we are no longer accepting paper claims unless you have an approved waiver. This was implemented on October 1, 2016 and we are hoping to docHub those providers who have only submitted paper claims and need to transition to electronic billing. This training will focus on billing electronically through the Direct Data Entry system in ProviderOne and will not cover HIPAA/EDI claims. What to include on an invoice. The name and contact information of the vendor and customer. An invoice number for payment tracking. The date of the transaction and date of invoice. The payment due date. A list of sold products or services with prices. Any pre-payments or discounts.
The term line item refers to any service or product added to an invoice, along with any quantities, rates, and prices that pertain to them.
A medical invoice is a record of treatment and a bill. It provides an itemized breakdown of all medical services and the costs that indicate when payment is due. It also indicates what medical service has been received so that the patient can be billed ingly.
An invoice line item is a single entry on an invoice. For example, an invoice for 10 red books at $1.00 each, and 20 blue books at $3.00 each, would be considered to have two invoice line items.
When billable time or expenses is submitted for a project, billing line items are generated that you can add to client invoices. For amounts based on rates, the billable line item is calculated by multiplying the billing rate used by the amount of time worked.
Invoice line total is the total value of all contents, excluding packaging, included in the shipment. Discount/Rebate. Discount/Rebate is the discount or rebate given by the shipper.
These are FCC authorized charges for network access, interstate subscriber line charge, customer subscriber line charge, or Federal line fee. These are fees charged to subscribers and other phone companies for the use of its local network.
