hello everyone the newest update of resolve DaVinci Resolve 18.5 introduces a lot of very exciting tools and today I really wanted to show you how to use a new real light effects in the color tab to add virtual lighting to your clips if you are curious how it works keep watching this video so here I have two different clips from art grid as I want to show you two different kinds of lighting we can create with the relite effect and I have just color corrected them a little bit to save some time Ive just adjusted the contrast and the exposure so lets start from the first clip and this is before and after and now in order to use the relight effect properly we need to create a surface map based on our clip first and then we can create a lighting based on this map so let me demonstrate how it works I will label my first node then to avoid any confusion I would just call it primaries and now I will hit option s to create another serial node and this will be my Surface map then Ill go to t
