okay this is a tutorial in SolidWorks 2015 so and it works 2015 and had to write some text onto a surface heres this object and I will write some text on to this face this one not this one not this one but this one okay so lets go to sketch up here then text this letter a click on that letter a and select where do you want to position that text lets say onto this face okay everything is blue now okay lets type in the text here lets say drone one and Ill check this one use document font now click on font okay and Im going to click on points specify a larger size 150 for example and press ok now the text is here click lets say somewhere there to position the text the corner of the text will be positioned there close it with this screen okay sign and here we have the text now its only a sketch its visible here so lets give some height to that line lets go to features extrude extruded boss and add some height to that line lets say here to the left side 0.5 millimeters press E
