good day everyone and this is sridhar from christian immigration consultant im a registered canadian immigration consultant based out of women by india um im here to answer a very specific question that i get asked from time to time which is what happens if our passport does not have a surname on it happens with people in this part of the world there are people who use only their name and their fathers name and sometimes both get written on the first name column and the last name or the surname column uh is left empty what do you do in such a scenario well ircc gives very specific instructions they say just put that entire name in the last name column of the form that youre filling right why do you do that otherwise the form will not be validated because thats a required field last name is normally the required field you can uh thats a mandatory field the first theme is optional but that one is mandatory so it wont allow you to validate it right so uh ircc says put the name in
