[Music] hi mr uncle here uh i recently got a comment on one of my videos about uh the need to make some of my web designs a little bit more basic so im gonna do a series on basic html and i thought for the first video i would go through just making a basic index.html page just basically the structure of it and then in subsequent videos ill go into some of the html tags that you can use okay so youll see in front of me i have a text editor open called notepad plus plus notepad plus plus only works on windows um but you can there are cross-platform text editors such as atom and brackets and visual studio code also on a mac you can get something like text wrangler i think for a basic series notepad plus pluses is a good text editor to use its it doesnt have some of the i installed some of the plugins with it especially with the 64-bit um like emmett emit helps you code a little faster so if i if i wanted to find a notepad plus plus i could just google it go here to the website it is
