Explanation: The header and Footer option is available in the Insert Menu.
How do you open the Header and Footer toolbar? On the View menu, click Toolbars, and select Header and Footer from the list of toolbars.
You can also add a header through the Insert menu: Insert Header [page style]. Likewise, for footers: Insert Footer [page style]. The Insert Menu can also be used for deleting a preexisting header or footer for a page style.
Go to Insert Header or Footer. Choose from a list of standard headers or footers, go to the list of Header or Footer options, and select the header or footer that you want. Or, create your own header or footer by selecting Edit Header or Edit Footer. When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
Select the Insert tab, then click the Header or Footer command. In our example, well click the Header command. In the menu that appears, select the desired preset header or footer. The header or footer will appear.
On the Layout tab, under View, click Page Layout. On the Layout tab, under Page Setup, click Header Footer.
What two ways can you access the Headers or Footers? Layout Ribbon, Header/Footer, or single-click into either. Insert Ribbon, Header/Footer, or double-click the top or bottom inch of the document. View Ribbon, Header/Footer, or Single-click into either.
