Select a cell or range. Click the Borders button. A menu of border options appears. Here, you can select where the borders appear around the outside of the selection, or cell borders within the selection.

Click on the Border tab, choose the style and colour of the lines in the Line frame, click Outline in the Presents menu, and make sure you can see a preview of the lines in the Border frame. A Red gridline is put on each cell. Then, click OK and go back to the worksheet you were on.
Highlight your line and choose Edit Move Row up/down. Repeat the steps to move it further. Drag and drop. Select the row and drag-and-drop it to the needed position.
To add cell borders: Select the cell or cells you want to modify. Select the Borders button and choose the desired border option from the drop-down menu. In our example, well choose to display all cell borders. The new cell borders will appear.
Change Cell Border Color in Google Sheets To change the color of the border in Google Sheets, first select the cells with borders whose color you want to change. Then in the Toolbar, click on the Borders button. In the menu, click on the Change Color button. Then select the color.
To add cell borders: Select the cell or cells you want to modify. Select the Borders button and choose the desired border option from the drop-down menu. In our example, well choose to display all cell borders. The new cell borders will appear.
Format one or more cells Tap a cell, then drag the blue markers across nearby cells you want to select. In the Text tab, choose an option to format your text. In the Cell tab, choose an option to format your cell. Tap the sheet to save your changes.
To modify border size: Right-click anywhere in the table. Select Table properties from the menu that appears. The Table Properties dialog box will appear. Click the Table border size drop-down arrow, then select the desired size. Click OK. The new border size will appear in the document.
Thick Outside Borders First, (1) select the range. Then, in the Ribbon, (2) go to the Home tab and (3) click on the arrow beside the border icon in the Font part. In the menu, well (4) select Thick Outside Borders. As a result, cells B2:D2 have now have thick outside borders.
