in this training video were going to look at the use of custom fields within Microsoft Project so for example in this particular project we can see who the resources are and whos whos working on each each of the tasks we can see what the task is but what we dont really know is who has ownership of each task so who is responsible if a task needs to be done as someone needs to be asked to work overtime for example or if theres sickness and somebody needs to replace one resource with another resource so were looking here at ask ownership in the use of whats called custom fields within Microsoft Project so were gonna were gonna assign somebody to each of these tasks who are the in effect the owners of the task and have responsibility for the tasks so under the format tab we have an area called custom fields now there are some other tabs you can use so the project tab also has it so either one works Im gonna stick under the project tab and Ill also use custom fields into this one

Create a column On powerapps.com, select Tables in the left navigation pane. If the item isnt in the side panel pane, select More and then select the item you want. Add a new column to your table by selecting Add column.
Create a Form Place the text cursor where you want to insert the form field. Click the Developer tab on the ribbon. Click the Design Mode button in the controls group. Click a Content Control buttons to insert the selected type of control. When youre done, click the Design Mode button again to exit Design Mode.
On the Properties tab of the right-hand pane, select Edit fields. In the Fields pane, select Add field, select the check box for each field, and then select Add. Select the ellipsis () next to Add field, select Collapse all, and then drag Name to the top of the list.
Deploy the Field Service for Outlook add-in Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center as a global admin or Exchange admin. Select Settings Integrated apps, and then select Get apps. Search for and select Dynamics 365 Field Service for Outlook. Select Add, Get it now, or Update.
Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, youll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.
Add a field by using a field template On the Home tab, in the Views group, click View, and then click Datasheet View. On the Table Fields tab, in the Add Delete group, click More Fields. Select a field in the More Fields list to insert the new column.
