hey guys this week were going to take a look at how we can add custom fields to dynamics 365 finance and operations and youre probably saying you know big deal we do that all the time but what were going to do is going to show you how to do it without using visual studio so normally you have to have a programmer then you go into visual studio add the uh field to the to the system etc etc so what were going to do is were going to do a no code method of adding custom fields to dynamics all right so a couple caveats to this method um first off is youre limited to the number of fields i think its less than 50 its between 25 and 50 sorry i dont know the exact number but you you are limited to the number of fields you can create and that is by table though so youre going to see in here im going to create these on the customer table but you can have that many on the product table etc these are available on most tables i wont say all im pretty sure theyre not on all tables but t

Add a field. When you open the details page for a hosted feature layer, you can use the Table or Fields view on the Data tab to add a field.
i. In ArcMap, right-click the shapefile layer in the table of contents and click Open Attribute Table. ii. Click the Options button and click Add Field.
The text after the first underscore will be what you decided to name your type. The function will run for every field of that type. Create a custom field In Grid view, select Add column > New field. Choose a field Type: Important: A custom field's type cannot be changed after it's created. If a custom field is the wrong type, delete the field, then create it again using the correct type. Enter a Field name, then select Create.
Simply create a new post or edit an existing one. Go to the custom fields meta box and select your custom field from the drop-down menu and enter its value. Click on the 'Add Custom Field' button to save your changes and then publish or update your post.
