You cannot add custom field to the standard IDOC type. I would suggest you to create an extended IDOC for your Std. IDOC and add the new field into the extended IDOC type. This can be done thru tcode WE30.

click on the extension and then copy the basic type. Now will get all the segmnts . Now add the new segments under the parent segement which needs to be extended. 3>attach the extended idoc type to basic type and message type to tcode WE82.

Changing Segments Choose SAP menu → Tools → IDoc Interface/ALE → Development ® IDoc ® Generate ALE Interface → Segments (WE31). ... Before you change the segment, you should create the transport request for your new segment definition and the relevant documentation.
Here you have to create enhenced idoc type.In we31 create the segment type as per your requirement and go to we30 and create enhenced idoc type by coping the standard idoc.
