The engraving of a stethoscope is placed on the chestpiece of the stethoscope. The placement of the engraving depends on the model of the stethoscope but is done on the lower or upper ring of a Littmann or Riester stethoscope.

If your tubing is light enough, write your name right on the tubing in black pen (not sharpie, just a regular ball pt pen) When you wipe over it with an alcohol wipe it will fade very slightly but still be readable, never fades completely.
