you can easily allow others to pick an item from a list with drop down lists and its super easy to add one first input the items youd like to have in your drop down Ive typed them in a separate sheet then go to the location where you want your list to appear select the cells go to data data validation for allow select list from the menu for Source click on the source button and select the items in your list click on OK and you get the ability to select your item you can also add the items of your drop down directly by typing them in select your cells go back to data validation select list for Source type your values separated by a comma you can also use named ranges if youd like select OK and your items are immediately available to choose from thats it now its time for you to give it a try
