yep another email with a document i need to sign instead of having to download print sign scan and then return i can make this process a lot easier on myself by using dropbox and their e-signature solution hello sign all i need to do download the attachment jump over to my dropbox account upload the attachment its already selected so lets use the share drop down and send for signature im the only one that needs to sign so im going to select im the only signer find where i need to sign and place my signature down moving on now i can select where i want my signed document to be saved im going to stick with my events documents so save now i can preview my document i can easily share within my dropbox account or i can download jump back into my email reply add that attachment back in and send see within a minute im done and could go on with the rest of my day

docHub is now Dropbox Sign. Our vision is to create one organized place for your content and workflows. In line with this vision, were delighted to announce that docHub is changing its name to Dropbox Sign.
When you send a signature request, the signer receives an email allowing them to open, review, and sign the document whether or not they have an active account. We do create a passive/silent account for each signer, which they can activate (by creating a password) to access the benefits of having their own account.
Signed documents have the Signatures button at the bottom of the document. Click the File tab. Click Info. Click Protect Document, Protect Workbook or Protect Presentation. Click Add a Digital Signature. Read the Word, Excel, or PowerPoint message, and then click OK.
Upload templates Navigate to the Templates page. Select NEWand select Upload Template. Browse to the location of the template file you want to upload and open it. You can upload an individual JSON or XML template file, or a collection of zipped template files. The new template displays at the top of your Templates list.
To self-sign a document on docHub.com: Sign in to docHub.com. Click Sign or send. Select the file(s) youd like to sign. Once youve added all your files, click Next. Click Im the only signer. Drag and drop the fields youd like to add to your document. Click Next.

Sign in to docHub.com. Click Documents in the left sidebar. Hover over ⁝ (vertical ellipsis) next to the signature request youd like to download documents from. Click Download, Download PDF, Download as CSV, or Download Signed.
Click Templates in the left sidebar. Click ⁝ (vertical ellipsis) next to the template or template link youd like to edit. Click Edit and follow the prompts to make your edits. Click Save template to save your edits.
Click and drag a Textbox from the left sidebar to your document. Click the dropdown menu below Assigned to in the right sidebar. Click Sender. Give the field a name in the box below Merge field.
Editable Merge Fields (referred to as Custom Fields in the API documentation) let requesters allow signers to edit data that has already been pre-filled in by the requester. The ability of the signer to edit the field is only for single-signer requests, OR the first signer of ordered signature requests.
