hey everyone welcome back to clinical physio with me khalid maidan in todays video were going to be taking you through the anterior drawer test for the ACL the anterior cruciate ligament as we said the purpose of this test is for the ACL in particular were looking at the integrity of this ligament with this test just before we actually show you the technique I wanted to say that were only going to perform this test on our patients right leg were not going to slow your video down by showing you on the other side as well but of course in clinical practice you always want to compare the two so lets get into it so as the therapists were going to passively bend our patients knee to approximately 90 degrees of flexion like so from here were going to sit on our patients for fit so that weve stabilized the lower limb and then were going to have both of our hands in a C shape like so cupping around the proximal tibia our thumbs are going to be resting just above the tibial tuberosit
