To add the current date to a document in Word, click on Insert, then Explore Quick Parts, and select Field. In the Field dialog box, choose Date and Time, then select the date format. Click OK to add the current date. To add the current time, follow the same procedure but select Time instead of Date. Save the document, and Word will display the current date and time whenever the document is opened.
