The proper way to write it would be "eleven o'clock in the morning", "half after four o'clock in the afternoon", and "seven o'clock in the evening". Since you write out the numbers, and include "morning, afternoon, or evening", you never include "am" or "pm". Time is never capitalized.
Most weddings don't start at the actual start time listed on the invitation. "Plan to start your ceremony about 15 minutes later than the invitation time. This gives guests a little extra time if they are running late and ensures all the seats will be filled!
Explanation: The address of the writer and the date should be written to the left, below the communication, that is, bottom left.
Ideally, guests should schedule time to arrive 30 minutes before the invitation start time of the ceremony (expect to carve in extra time for larger wedding guest lists). If you've arrived after the ceremony commences, slip into the back row or wait for the coordinator or usher to guide you to the seat.
DO keep it simple. Your save the date card does not have to include any information on the church, synagogue or reception location. Just your names, a date, city and state is really all you need.
The time should be written in all lowercase letters. You do not have to write "in the morning," "in the afternoon," or "in the evening", unless the wedding is scheduled for 8, 9 or 10 (where there could be some confusion over whether it's morning or evening!).
Traditionally, the date and time should be spelled out in full. For example, if your ceremony is on September 15, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., the wording should read, “Saturday, the fifteenth of September, two thousand twenty-one, at half after four in the afternoon.” The day of the week and the month should be capitalized.
It is placed on the lower-left corner of the invitation! Respondez s'il vous plait may be written as R.s.v.p. with a capital R and a lowercase s.v.p. The other form is R.S.V.P. in capital letters. The preferred form, and the one I use, is R.s.v.p. It is what Mummy taught me.
Time of day should be spelled out as “four o'clock” or “half after four o'clock.” Note that “half after” is the most traditional way to indicate time. However, less formal invitations can use “half past four o'clock” or “four-thirty.”
Write the Full Address Though save the dates are less formal than invitations, it's still widely accepted to feature the full address on envelopes. Use the full versions of street names, towns, and cities — you can abbreviate the state. Make sure you include the right zip code.
