Manual Test Data Creation One approach is to prepare a list of items used for testing, generate sample data using your QA team members or developers, and then validate that it works as expected. Manual test data is the most straightforward way to create test data.
To do so, right-click a TestStep and select Jump to Module from the context menu, or use the Jump to Module button in the TestCases menu. In this TestStep, Tricentis Tosca should enter data into the Enter Vehicle Data page of the demo application and then click Next.
Some of the types of test data included in this method are valid, invalid, null, standard production data, and data set for performance.
Call the test case and pass in the data, using one of four different techniques: Use a database and the Data Driven Workflow to run the test case. Click Run Testcase and type the data into the Run Testcase dialog box. In a QA Organizer test plan, insert the data as an attribute to a test description.
