Create a new form or quiz Sign in to Microsoft 365 with your school or work credentials. Open your PowerPoint presentation and choose the slide in which you want to insert a form or quiz. On the Insert tab, select Forms.
If you dont want to show all of the elements of a PowerPoint slide at once, you can create a build slide. This type of slide helps you make a transition from one point to the next, adding effective flow to your presentation.
Apply an animation Select the object or text on the slide that you want to animate. On the Animations tab of the ribbon, open the gallery of animations, and select the one you want. On the Animations tab, open the Effect Options list to select from among the available options.
To create a build slide: Choose Build from the Tools menu. Choose the options you want to use in building the slide. Click on the OK button. You have successfully completed the PowerPoint tutorial!
Select the picture on the slide. On the Picture tab, select Picture Border. The menu gives you options for Color, Weight (line thickness), and line styleincluding solid and dashed lines. To remove a custom border, you can select No Outline.

On the Insert tab, select Forms. A Forms panel will open and dock on the right side of your PowerPoint presentation.
Click anywhere on your slide, hold down your left mouse button and drag it to create a star large enough to cover the object you want to overlay. For example, if you want to overlay a heading, make the star large enough to surround the heading.
Select the text or object in the slide that you want to appear first. Click Animations Add Animation. Click one of the Entrance Effects listed, or click More Entrance Effects to view more effect options. Tip: You can also select one of the Entrance Effects from the list of icons in the Animations tab.
