The record would typically include the trainers name and the training topic. Training logs or training registers: These records track the training that employees have received. They can include the date and time of the training, the topic of the training, the trainers name, and the employees attendance.
Designed to protect employees against occupational exposure to blood borne disease causing organisms such as HBV HCV and HIV. BBP requires employers to protect their employees from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials .
Typically, training documentation includes the training topic, the name of the instructor, the date, and the trainees name. The trainer passes around a sign-in sheet at the training session or keeps a separate safety training file for each employee.
Utility Gloves (e.g., facilitY, maintenance, central sterile processing) Used for manual cleaning of instruments and decontamination with harsh chemicals. DO wear gloves to reduce the risk of contamination or exposure to blood, other body fluids, hazardous materials,and transmission of infection.
Technical records, e.g., air or soil testing results: 10 years; Training and other records pertaining to a specific worker: 5 years from the date the worker leaves the company (or is no longer exposed to the hazard that prompted you to create the record); All other records: 5 years.
The training records must contain each employees name, the name of the trainers, and the dates of training.
The certification must include the operators name, the dates of the training and evaluation, and the name of the trainer/evaluator. OSHA does not set a record retention time. Process safety management (1910.119) requires retraining at least every 3 years and a written training record.
